Whether you are looking at getting started, restarting or just carving out some time in your week for yourself, we have got you covered… With 12 authentic yoga classes a week, 3 relaxation options, 3 Hit Fit Boxing and 15 functional and strength circuit classes a week and a recovery class we are sure to have you covered for all your mind and body needs.
Our instructors are highly trained and masters of their field, they are given their creative freedom resulting in a different class every time. Each class on the timetable is suitable for beginners up to intermediate as multi-level options are always on offer. All the clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they felt from the very first day and they always feel embraced and excited to come to class. The community vibe is what keeps people coming back and is what Universal Balance is all about!
The timetable at Universal Balance has been carefully put together so to cover all your mind and body needs. Although it may seem like a weird mix, every class on the timetable complements the others. Meditation and restorative yoga for your mind, Yoga, Boxing and Circuits for your body and mind connection. Holistic Personal Training
Holism refers to the belief that health is best obtained when everything is considered, as opposed to just the symptoms of a particular issue. When pursuing holistic personal training, many factors need to be considered, you and your trainer will go over your personal fitness goals, nutrition, stress levels, quality of sleep and any injuries or limitations you may have.
Meditation
In these sessions you will learn practical mindfulness and meditation skills to enable you to cope better with stress, anxiety and tension. Mindfulness and meditation enable us to calm our mind, relax our body, and ease away stress and tension which improves both our physical and mental well-being.
Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga
At Universal Balance, we offer Vinyasa & Hatha-inspired Flow Yoga classes– a dynamic style of yoga that’s physical and deeply satisfying. Our teachers are highly trained to help you to adjust the pose to cater for injuries, discomforts or general aches and pains.
Fighting Fit classes
We offer HIITfit boxing to help raise your heart rate, and Krav Maga training sessions, which help build discipline and confidence to deal with unpredictable situations.
Strength Classes
In addition to building confidence, burning calories and toning your body, strength circuit classes at UB are designed to prepare you for real-life movements and activities. These classes focus on training your muscles to work together, enhancing your ability to tackle everyday tasks at home, work, or during sports. By incorporating movements such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting, our strength circuit classes make these everyday actions easier and more efficient, seamlessly integrating into your overall fitness and health routine.
Kids Classes
We offer a variety of classes for kids of all ages, designed to help build self confidence, social skills, discipline and a healthy outlook on life.
Functional Fitness Circuit
Besides burning calories and toning your body, functional fitness circuit classes at UB help to prepare the body for real-life movements and activities. By training your muscles to work together you prepare them for everyday tasks you might do at home, at work, or in sports. Movements such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting will be made easier with our functional fitness classes integrated into your exercise routine.
